800HP 1972 Chevy C10 Stepside
About this project
1972 Chevrolet C10 Stepside for our client Garrett at Three Five Customs with a custom one-off design inspired by a p40 fighter plane to honor the life of his late Mother Teri Lee. To create this design we started off with sketches from what the client wanted. After the concept was approved we did a custom paper pattern of every panel on the vehicle then flattened them out, took photos and created our digital wrap templates for the design. We got together with our friend Scott at Skepple to help bring the concept idea to life. The body design was a war torn P40 concept. The stepside was designed in a wood grain print as well as the rear truck bed floor. The inside of the bed was wrapped to match the outside. The rear tailgate was designed to match both sides of the stamped “Chevrolet” pattern and lay right over the existing letters for a 3D design look. All the wrap was done panel by panel including a one-piece wrapped rear quarter panel flare. The customer could not be happier! The wrap was done in Avery 1105 EZRS with Avery 1370z Luster Overlaminate.
